About Me

I work with adults aged 18+, and specialize in supporting Millennial and Gen X professionals through issues such as depression, anxiety, perfectionism, life transitions, and relationship and family concerns.

When I’m not practicing therapy, I can usually be found enjoying outdoor activities such as hiking and spending time in nature, lifting heavy things at the gym, and exploring and taking blurry photos of intriguing locations around the world.

My Mission

Why do I practice therapy? Because I know what it’s like to reach out when you’re at your most vulnerable, only to be met with indifference, judgement, or false reassurances. I also know what it’s like to be seen, heard, and accepted, and what a tremendous impact that can have on our ability to heal and rebuild.

That's why I’m passionate about providing therapy that embodies honesty and transparency, promotes genuine connection over people pleasing, celebrates your individuality, and invites you to show up exactly as you are. There are three main purposes that guide me as a therapist:

To help you confront and transcend the fears and limiting beliefs that keep you from moving forward.

To empower you to live your life with purpose and intention, never ceasing to surprise yourself at what you’re capable of achieving and overcoming.

To help you fall in love with the person you’ve always been, not the person you thought you needed to be.

My Approach

I employ a holistic and integrative approach that is rooted in Person-Centered Therapy.

A holistic therapy approach is simply one that cultivates awareness of both mind and body and how they interact to contribute to overall mental health and wellness.

An integrative therapy approach is one that draws from different modalities as suits each individual. I do not view therapy as a one-size-fits-all practice, and will customize my approach and techniques to compliment your own needs and preferences.

A person-centred approach regards therapy as a collaborative process between you and your therapist. As a person-centered therapist, I view you as the expert of your own life who already possesses the capacity for personal insight, growth, and change.

Underpinning all of my work is a commitment to building a strong therapeutic relationship that is grounded in mutual trust and respect, and establishing a safe and nonjudgmental space where you feel motivated and empowered as you embark on your personal journey.

My Qualifications

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), and a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). I practice within the ethical guidelines of both organizations. I hold a B.A. in Psychology from Concordia University and an M.Ed. in Counselling from Acadia University, and I am committed to ongoing training and professional development to constantly expand and update my skills and therapeutic techniques.
